The role:
Set-up, operate and monitor the manufacturing machinery and complete all relevant documentation in line with quality standards.
The Machine Operator will come from a similar background within a heavy manufacturing environment and must have experience operating various types of manufacturing machinery.
As Machine Operator you will be expected to comply with all H&S regulations, ensure any tooling/equipment used on the shop floor is returned to the required location once finished with, carry out any duties requested by the on shift supervisor to support assembly and testing operations and follow SOI's and Risk Assessments for all production operations.
Monday - Friday (38 hours)
The 3 shift pattern is:
Week 1 early shift Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm
Week 2 late shift Mon - Fri 2pm - 10pm
Week 3 nightshift Mon - Thurs 10pm - 6am / Fri 5pm - 11pm

The role is working in the production/ machining of metal parts for a variety of manufacturing clients throughout the UK and Europe.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating of the Press Machine and other similar machinery to manufacture components for our internal assembly flow lines, ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery.
Duties:
- Set up the press with the correct tooling (dies, collar, blanks etc) to suit the spec of job required. li>Follow the correct production processes li> Responsible for striking the correct number of components required from the works order li>QC the completed work with the QC packing team to ensure the product is ready for dispatch
- Carry out daily maintenance and cleaning of the press ready for the next order
- Ensure Health & Safety is carried out and followed
Suitable Candidate:
- Previous experience of setting and operating machinery is necessary li>Competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings and able to inspect work using a range of measurement equipment
- Preference will be given to candidate who have previous experience in CNC Milling or CNC Turning machine setter
Hours : 8 am - 4.30 pm Monday - Friday with 2 x 15 minutes paid break and half hour unpaid.
