Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leads team in the building of CRM solutions that meets requirements.

• Responsible for end-to-end technical assurance, technical governance, technical best practices, the reuse of technical assets, and the assignment of technical work. Responsible for technical direction of the project.

• Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating Product Testing, UAT Support.

• Mentors and coaches CRM developers and team members

• Day-to-day management of the teams, working closely with the Project Manager to provide information around scheduling, risks, issues, changes, etc.

• Participates in daily leadership calls, stand-ups, can outline performance of technical team

• Ensure technical issues are resolved in a cost effective, efficient, and timely manner

• Establish the criteria related to the release process for the team in promoting code to the appropriate environments and monitor the promotion of such code so it is in line with the processes described in the Configuration Management Plan

• Ensure teams have access to the Configuration Management Plan and use the approved Configuration Control tool

• Participate in all work product review sessions described in the Quality Plan to ensure compliance with the technical design.

• Ensure the Developer invites a subject matter expert that is knowledgeable about the system change to any conformance review

• Coach and mentor the technical team in the development of the project from a technical perspective

• Provide technical support and technical quality control throughout all stages of the project

• Provide technical subject matter expertise for the technical delivery processes and implementation. This may include, but is not limited to, informal meetings with team members on technical strategy of project; attendance at status meetings with customer entities as requested: review and involvement in all technical work product reviews

• Work with other key architecture roles to ensure the technology is being applied to meet the business objectives (Applications Architect, Data Architect, etc.)

This exciting opportunity will see the candidate working closely with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. The ability to interact and communicate with internal and external customers is essential to support the business. The role is responsible for understanding the business processes, internal controls, integrations, interfaces and inter-dependencies of the system within the KBR infrastructure and the configuration of the ERP to meet those business needs.

Here is what you will be doing:
+ Systems Analysis - analyse current system to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses for potential optimisation.
+ Requirements elicitation - collecting, understanding and documenting the functional and non-functional requirements for change initiatives and translating them into user stories, ensuring they are well defined and read for development.
+ Process modelling - create AS-IS and TO-BE process maps and user stories as part of a transition initiative.
+ Prioritisation - working in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders to gain approval and prioritisation for identified initiatives.
+ Configuration - understand existing system configuration, be responsible for impact evaluation on the ERP or other systems should configuration change. Provide impact analysis and guidance of proposed configuration changes.
+ Configuration documentation - document and maintain configuration documentation.
+ Workflows - understand workflow capabilities, create and maintain.
+ Support - Day to day support and administration activities. This is inclusive of support required through ERP upgrade cycles.
+ Issue Resolution - investigate, determine cause, manage through to resolution.
+ Functional design documentation - when required, produce functional design documentation to the standard that they can be passed to IT for development.
+ Testing - produce test scenarios, test scripts, execute and document results to support the promotion to production lifecycle for enhancement, bugs and upgrades.
+ User Training - Creation and maintenance of user guide materials, constant evolution of best practice delivery methods and technologies. Delivery of training either in person or via communication streams to small or large audiences.
+ Reporting - Work with the reporting streams to ensure that all in-house reporting meets the business need.

Microsoft Dynamics Applications Analyst required on a permanent basis for a public sector organisation based in York. This exciting new role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of one or more critical IT services within the Applications Team. This includes responsibility for application design, implementation, operation, improvement, and retirement stages.


Your new role
The post holder will act as a subject matter expert for assigned platforms and services, and will provide advanced support, configuration, and development.They will be expected to lead technical improvements, deliver scalable business applications, and ensure systems are flexible, integrated, and aligned to user needs.They will also contribute to service strategy, stakeholder engagement, road mapping, and the introduction of new technologies and the design and monitoring of SLAs.The role requires confidence in applying application development principles, supporting end-to-end service design, and aligning delivery with agile methodologies were appropriate.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
  • Significant experience configuring, administering, and supporting applications
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Automate would be highly desireable
  • Strong technical knowledge in enterprise application ecosystems, including API integration, relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), and web technologies (e.g. JSON, REST).

What you'll get in return
This exciting new role is paying between 39,000 and 48,000 negotiable on experience plus excellent public sector holidays, fantastic pension, hybrid working, training and flexibility.
