Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive linear and non-linear structural analyses using industry-standard FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN).
- Develop detailed computational models from CAD data, ensuring accuracy and mesh quality.
- Interpret simulation results, identify potential failure modes, and provide clear, concise recommendations to design teams.
- Perform modal analysis, harmonic response, random vibration, and thermal stress analysis.
- Validate FEA models through correlation with experimental test data or analytical methods where applicable.
- Contribute to the conceptualization and design of robust and efficient mechanical structures.
- Collaborate remotely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and project stakeholders to define analysis requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting analysis methodologies, results, and conclusions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in structural analysis techniques, software, and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in structural mechanics and FEA.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline with a strong focus on structural mechanics.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in structural analysis and Finite Element Analysis.
- Proven expertise in using commercial FEA software packages such as ANSYS, Abaqus, SolidWorks Simulation, or similar.
- Solid understanding of material science, mechanics of materials, solid mechanics, and dynamics.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) for model preparation.
- Ability to perform complex calculations and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences remotely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus.
