The Role:
You will oversee and deliver complex pump system projects from award, to design, build and commissioning. You will ensure that allocated projects are managed safely, within scope, time, and budget, and in full compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a CDM Project Manager based in Bedford to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
This is not a typical office-based Project Manager role, our client is looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and ready to be directly involved in the construction and installation of pump systems and other water-related infrastructure.
You’ll be working on-site across various UK locations, often for extended periods depending on project scope. The role requires someone who is flexible, self-motivated, and willing to travel and get stuck in, not just delegate tasks. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing all stages of construction and construction team ensuring all construction objectives and standards are met. This includes forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates, finding solutions to problems as they arise, ensuring all equipment and materials are available on-site as needed, interfacing with city, county and governmental reviewers and inspectors, managing the relationship with general contractors and direct vendors, coordinating with creative and ride/show staff to deliver an integrated project, partnering with project management and the facility design team to ensure timely construction development, and ensuring project(s) are completed on time and within budget.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Construction Phase: Oversees relationship with general contractors, subcontractors, and local city inspectors. Verifies all third-party inspections are completed and passed, and city final inspections are completed and passed by the city inspector. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and all other regulations. Conducts ongoing quality inspections. Manages all required construction management processes including but not limited to: RFI's, Shop Drawings, Directives, Submittals, Punch Lists, Short Form Agreements and other documents as required. Maintains construction schedule and tracking system to track and report all phases of project; regularly reports on status of projects, either in person or through written reports or correspondence. Ensures the construction process starts and ends on time and ensures daily and weekly deadlines are met. Performs checklists and reports that aid in controlling aspects of the construction process. Performs constant on-site monitoring and quality control function -
+ Pre-Construction Phase: Becomes familiar with the Creative concept package and monitors the development of construction documents. Assists with the pre-qualification and evaluation of potential construction vendors. Works with general contractors, vendors for site/construction sequence and logistics with general contractors, vendors, and the project team with regards to access, insurance, etc. required to gain access to the site. Works with general contractors in setting up mock-ups and samples area. Develops site lay down and access plan for the project(s) -
+ Design Phase: Assists with review of all various design phase submittals from outside architects and engineers. Reviews design documents for construction, completeness, corrections, and coordination and compiles a list of comments. Reviews existing facility status (if applicable) to evaluate what potential issues need to be addressed by the design documents. Attends design progress review meetings. Provides recommendation for Value Engineering alternatives if required. Coordinates with Ride and Show teams to ensure facility inputs are incorporated into construction documents
+ Bid/Award Phase: Assists in the preparation of Request for Proposals. Reviews all documentation required for site access, lay down and other logistics for the contractors and vendors for review by project management. Assists in the response to questions for the RFP. Assists in the final evaluation and recommendation process of bids and proposals
+ Closeout Phase: Oversees, manages and resolves punch lists and close out processes. Reviews final submittals for accuracy and completeness. Assists in the preparation of an overall project post-mortem.
+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
+ Directly supervises Exempt and Non-Exempt team members; indirectly supervises efforts of vendors and contractors assembled to support specific project-related tasks. Number and types of staff will vary dependent upon the project.
+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws.

Job Title: Invoice to Cash (I2C) Analyst - EMEA

The job
As the I2C Analyst, you will help create high performing, standardised end-to-end I2C processes which drives value throughout the AVEVA organisation, and which constantly evolve to meet the needs of our evolving business.
Improve AVEVA’s I2C EMEA processes through a focus on the design, control, operation, and improvement of existing and new processes. Ensure process implementation meets these four principles.
Key responsibilities
- Support the design and redefining of I2C processes to ensure the key process design principles are achieved
- Collaborate with the key stakeholders to identify improvements and enhancements to I2C processes
- Working in collaboration with the local finance, the commercial team and SSC team in designing end-to-end processes
- Create and sign off Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which support both the SOX and internal requirements
- Ensure all I2C processes are mapped within Business Optix
- Establish routine process governance meetings with stakeholders updating on progress
- Work in collaboration with the other members of the process team and project SMEs to ensure system and process change meets the process design principles. There are clear, documented hand-offs between processes
- Work with other teams, such as IT, in finding opportunities to automate manual processes
Essential requirements
- Practical experience of I2C processes, particularly in Oracle Fusion
- Hands-on approach to process design with attention to detail
- Understanding of what great global processes and controls look like in the I2C space
- Ability to lead improvement activities without formal authority
- Ability to collaborate with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred but not essential
