This is not a traditional product role limited to a single product. Instead, you will hold a platform and data ownership mindset, driving strategic data services, architecting processes, and defining the roadmap for future-state data capabilities within the onboarding and KYC ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build deep understanding of existing systems and data flows across onboarding and KYC journeys and identify opportunities to optimise data quality and reduce friction.
- Define and communicate a clear data vision and strategy for onboarding and KYC services with internal stakeholders, engineering teams and architects.
- Shape and own the data product backlog, writing epics, features and user stories with a focus on value-based delivery and MVP definition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, operations and business to align data services with wider strategic architecture and digital transformation goals.
- Analyse usage data, feedback and performance metrics to continually refine strategy and drive measurable improvements in data utility, product performance and cost optimisation.
- Drive governance, data quality standards, risk management and compliance alignment across data touchpoints.
- Act as a subject matter expert on onboarding and KYC data flows, influencing decision-making and promoting best practice across teams.
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement and transparent communication of priorities, roadmap progress and outcomes.
- Support BAU and strategic change initiatives, including regulatory updates, new propositions and digital channel enhancements.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst in a data, digital or technical environment.
- Strong KYC, CDD or onboarding domain expertise, ideally with exposure to system integration or data mastering processes.
- Comfortable engaging with Enterprise, Solution and Data Architects, with the ability to challenge and shape technical direction.
- Experience managing product financials, TCO and value realisation frameworks.
- Skilled in backlog management, Agile delivery, stakeholder communication and decision-making in a complex environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity in fast-paced transformation programmes.
- Passionate about improving data utility, reducing friction in customer journeys and delivering strategic impact at scale.
