This business delivers turnkey solutions across sectors including water treatment, energy, infrastructure, and heavy industry. With a reputation for precision engineering, robust project delivery, and long-term client partnerships, they are now seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their growing team.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of large engineering projects from concept through to completion. These projects typically involve bespoke mechanical assemblies, structural steelwork, pipework systems, and site-based installations. You’ll be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, resources, and client expectations, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

This is a hands-on Project Manager role that requires technical understanding, commercial awareness, and strong stakeholder management. You’ll be working closely with design engineers, fabrication teams, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate all phases of project execution

Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple engineering contracts
  • Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and resource schedules
  • Manage budgets ranging from £100 to m, ensuring financial control and reporting
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and communication
  • Oversee site activities including installation, commissioning, and handover
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and contractual obligations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters

To succeed as a Project Manager in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience managing engineering or manufacturing projects
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, or industrial installations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project performance
  • A qualification in engineering or project management

  • Help to ensure consistent throughput by ensuing the team is provided with a sufficient supply of relevant, prioritised and actionable work items in their backlog? ? 

  • Ensure backlog priority is agreed and maintained via the Product Owner? 

  • Work with multi-discipline teams across multiple locations and functions, specifically with (but not limited to) end-users, CRO, Web Analytics, User Research, and the delivery Squad(s)? 

  • In the absence of the Product Owner, act as a proxy-PO and sign off features for release?

The Opportunity

We're supporting a leading retail and consumer brand embarking on a business transformation programme aimed at simplifying and modernising their operations ahead of a future SAP S/4HANA migration.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on SAP Business Analyst to join at a pivotal stage helping to define and shape "To-Be" processes, streamline legacy systems, and standardise ways of working across the business.

You'll be working in a collaborative, transformation-focused environment where your ability to blend functional SAP knowledge with real-world business insight will make a tangible difference.

The Role

As SAP Business Analyst, you'll:

  • Analyse and document current ("As-Is") business processes across key areas such as procure-to-pay and buying/merchandising .
  • Design and define the "To-Be" process landscape to support future operating models.
  • Work closely with functional leads and technical teams to streamline a heavily customised SAP ECC6 environment , reducing complexity and manual workarounds.
  • Support the transition from legacy, spreadsheet-driven processes towards a more standardised and efficient SAP-led model.

About You
