This school is looking for a passionate and nurturing Nursery Assistant to join their vibrant and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the early years of children’s education and development. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Assistant:

  • Assist in delivering a high-quality early years education program in a nurturing environment
  • Support children’s learning through play, interaction, and exploration
  • Help to create a safe and welcoming environment for all children
  • Encourage children to develop their social, emotional, and physical skills
  • Assist with daily routines, such as mealtimes, nap times, and personal care
  • Work alongside other nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of the setting
  • Observe and report on children's progress and development
  • Support children with special educational needs, where appropriate

Ideal Nursery Assistant:

  • Experience working with young children, ideally in an early years setting
  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude as a Nursery Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • A passion for working with children and helping them reach their potential
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, is desirable but not essential

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant may include managing the daily schedule, assisting with routine tasks such as feeding, toilet breaks, rest time, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all children.
