We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to join our clients team in Cambridge. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised care to patients and their families, making a real difference in their lives every day. This role requires a strong background in chemotherapy administration, clinical assessments, and community nursing.
Job Description :
- Administer haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as defined in patient care plans
- Document clinical data and report adverse drug events via correct protocols
- Build lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to support treatment and recovery
- Travel throughout a regional area to visit patients at home (full UK driving licence required)
- Maintain professional standards and deliver patient-focused care tailored to individual needs
Key Skills and Qualifications :
- Registered general nurse
- Qualified in administering cytotoxic drugs
- Ability to cannulate and experience in undertaking clinical assessments
- Community nursing experience advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- SACT Passport for Chemotherapy Nurses is preferable

What you'll be working:
- Working 5 days a week
- 40 Hrs per week
- Monday to Friday
- Some on call duties over weekends.
What you'll be doing:
- Observe and operate at all times in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Provide a flexible working pattern, to ensure the smooth operation of service, including working out of core hours, weekends and public holidays.
- To undertake any other duties appropriate and as reasonably required, to meet the changing needs of the service.
- Ensuring service user needs and business objectives are met.
- Ensure effective on call cover for designated services
- Responsible for keeping up-to-date with any changes, or new legislation affecting the provision of services.

- Support service users' ongoing medical needs.
- Support service users who may require behaviour management.
What you'll have:
- A current NMC Pin number (RN/ RMN/ RNLD)
- A legal right to work in the U.K.
- Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills.
- Flexible, professional, and positive approach to multi-site working.
- Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
