Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, including clients with multiple physical, cognitive, and environmental challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth home visits to assess functional needs, environmental risks, and suitability for adaptations or equipment.

Designed with small classes (around 6 pupils), each supported by a teacher and teaching assistant, it delivers a personalised, low-arousal environment with sensory-friendly spaces and strong visuals. The curriculum blends National Curriculum subjects with creative, physical, outdoor learning, and community engagement, guiding students toward qualifications (Unit Awards, Entry Levels, Functional Skills, or GCSEs) and fostering independence and employability skills. The school are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their expanding provision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out assessments and delivering one-to-one, group, and class-based interventions

  • Writing clear, professional reports to support EHCPs and reviews

  • Working closely with teachers, support staff, and other therapists to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines
