Job Description:What is the Opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity to manage the Supervision and Oversight team in our London office on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will support key stakeholders across Wealth Management Europe (WME), dealing with quality assurance activities, improving processes, and supporting the reduction of risk. RBC’s expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Manage a team of 2 who perform control testing daily.
- Assist the team with support in control testing, quality control, and procedure testing of WME activities.
- Enhance the existing controls monitoring/quality assurance program for accurate and efficient reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build the controls program capturing key risks.
- Communicate findings and provide solutions for control issues.
- Review policies and procedures for improvements, ensuring alignment with WME structure.
- Support and coach team members and other departments within the bank.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Proven experience in people management including coaching and performance management.
- Deep knowledge in supervision, oversight, risk, or quality assurance roles.
- Understanding of operational risk principles, especially regulatory or client-focused risks.
- Ability to analyze large data sets from multiple sources.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in Wealth Management.
