Typically, this person will be responsible for the design, build, maintenance, and support of secure networks for both internal teams and external customers. The role covers the full lifecycle of network management, from design through to commissioning and long-term support, while ensuring security, reliability, and performance standards are met.

Duties and responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for network design, management, and security.             
  • li>Lead the design, build, test, and commissioning of internal and occasional customer networks.

  • Professional networking certifications such as FCSS/FCP and/or CCNA/CCNP (or equivalent).

  • Str ng technical knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco Routers/Switches, VPN, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, and VoIP QoS.             
  • Ab lity to obtain or hold DV Security Clearance.

The Opportunity:

In this newly created role you will participate and support all internal IT and Engineering teams, taking responsibility for the through life maintenance and support of both internal and customer networks as required by the company, providing advice and expertise on the design and management of internal and customer networks.

You will participate as required in the build, test and commissioning of such networks and help support and maintain the integrity of network security for internal and external customer networks.

Skills and Experience:
