uf0a7 Serve as the key interface between project delivery and any internal central core team from Design and Construction, Real Estate and Legal partners and the senior leadership of external supply chain (General Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, OEMs)

uf0a7 Support supplier performance management together with Design and Construction partners

uf0a7 Provide insight and knowledge of the construction industry and supply chain and in turn develop procurement strategies to support/inform strategic decision making

**Team/Role Overview**
The role of ORM Coverage Lead - Global Client Organization is responsible for leading a team within Citi's Operational Risk Management (ORM) group providing independent 2nd line risk oversight over Citi's Client Organization. The Client Organization is dedicated to empowering our clients' growth by deeply understanding and anticipating their needs and by harnessing the full power of Citi. The organization takes a firmwide view of our client strategy, segmentation, and coverage model. ORM is an enterprise level independent risk management function responsible for enterprise-wide oversight and aggregation of operational risk across all Businesses/ Functions (or Material Legal Entity). This includes augmented, specialized teams with focus on L1 Operational Risk Categories (e.g., Fraud, Processing, Cyber, Technology, Operational Resilience, Third Party) enabling pan Business/ Geography views and ensuring consistency of risk assessments and oversight. Individuals in Operational Risk establish and manage operational risk policies aimed to drive consistent identification, measurement, monitoring, reporting and management of operational risk across Citi. The ORM framework is designed to lead to effective anticipation and mitigation of operational risk and improved loss experience. It also provides an enterprise-wide assessment framework for significant current and emerging operational risks.
This role is crucial to the company as it fortifies against potential operational risks, thereby protecting the company's financial stability and reputation, and contributing towards the overall business resilience and success.
**What you'll do**
+ Drive the implementation of Operational Risk policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and alignment in operational risk management across the Global Client organization and drive by example, a culture of look across ORM (business, L1 Risk SME and cluster teams) to elevate risks identified and elicit insights from work performed.
+ Influence and guide businesses in risk-related decision-making, ensuring the integration of risk management into business planning and daily operations, and oversee the development and implementation of risk monitoring programs, including the creation of key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards to track operational risk exposure.
+ Lead the reporting and presentation of operational risk status, trends, and key developments to the board, regulators, and other key stakeholders, as applicable, and lead with compassion and reinforces a culture in which people assume best intentions of others; treats others respectfully; listens, understands, and appreciates the unique challenges faced by others.
+ Stay informed of regulatory changes and ensure that operational risk management practices comply with all relevant laws and industry standards and support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations, as applicable.

**What we'll need from you**
+ Relevant experience with managing complex risk assessments, designing risk mitigation strategies, and overseeing compliance with operational risk frameworks., interacting with Regulators and Internal Audit, including managerial experience.
+ Robust understanding of operational risk management frameworks, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation practices, and Citi's Lending and Banking products and services and downstream impacts of operational risk strategy.
+ Demonstrated leadership in partnering with the business and senior management to address operational risk issues and implement solutions, and track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities.
+ To be an experienced risk challenger who balances risks vs. rewards aligned with corporate risk culture and comfortable in dynamic environments, capable of adapting to change while maintaining focus on risk management objectives.
+ Ability to influence across cultures at a senior level, understanding how to operate effectively across diverse businesses, to think strategically and align operational risk management with organizational goals and regulatory obligations, to manage and drive change within the organization, ensuring risk management processes evolve to meet changing business and regulatory environments.
+ Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk matters clearly and persuasively to senior management, the Board and other stakeholders.
+ Strong executive presence and poise to garner credibility and confidence with, stakeholders in senior-leader forums and effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views.
+ Robust analytical problem-solving abilities and a high level of integrity to deal with highly confidential data, demonstrated ability to make sound judgment calls on issues that can be both quantitative and qualitative in nature.
