NCR Atleos are seeking Global Currency Consultant to join our Global Currency Template Team to support our Currency Template Program
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading manufacturers and xxx of ATM recycling devices and currency templates to become a leading expert in banknote design, security features and template development techniques and tools.
Based in UK, the key function of the role is to build relationships with Central Banks and Financial Institutions across the globe to support our Currency Template Programme and to offer expert advice on the machine-readable security features & the design of new banknotes. This role will offer an invaluable link between our Global Currency Template Management Team and Central Banks in their pursuit of gaining access to currency notes to support the development and testing of currency templates.
For this role we are seeking candidates who demonstrate the potential for growth, and we will support the selected candidate in their development of the required skills.
**The role involves various areas of scope including -**
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Central Banks globally
- Advising Central Banks on new note design
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Currency Note Manufacturers
- Attend relevant conferences & seminars across the globe
- Understand the technicalities of currency note design & security features
**Essential Skills**
This role requires skills in the following areas:
- Knowledge in image processing & analysis
- A sound theoretical background in the functional requirements of machine-readable security features and related detectors.
- Familiarity with anti-counterfeiting technologies
- Ability to network with senior stakeholders from financial institutions and industry suppliers
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information to others, including where English is not their first language
- Willingness to travel on a frequent basis
- Show capability of working in teams and independently
- Ability to multi-task
- Very good project management skills will be an added advantage.
**Advantageous Skills**
- Ability to write and speak an additional language
- Knowledgeable across deposit and recycler hardware and software products
- Understanding of printing technology
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Educated to Degree in technical or scientific discipline or 10 years+ experience in security printing industry
