Healthii People are delighted to be working with a progressive, patient-focused GP practice in Leicester to recruit a qualified and experienced Paramedic Prescriber to join their growing clinical team.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive primary care setting where your autonomous clinical skills and prescribing qualification will be highly valued and fully utilised.


Role Overview:

As a Paramedic Prescriber, you’ll be responsible for managing a range of minor illness and acute presentations, working both independently and alongside the wider multidisciplinary team.


Key Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Paramedic
  • Independent Prescribing qualification
  • Experience working in primary care, urgent care or a similar setting
  • Confident in assessing, diagnosing, and treating minor illnesses and acute conditions
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone triage consultations
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for a range of minor illnesses
  • Support the practice with same-day demand and home visits (where needed)
  • Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and the wider clinical team to deliver safe and effective care
