Job Description
Our client is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their expanding remote mental health services, specializing in child and adolescent care. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to make a significant impact from the comfort of your home, serving clients across the UK. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions via secure telehealth platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of developmental psychology, common mental health conditions in young people (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD), and a variety of therapeutic modalities. Responsibilities include providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, collaborating with parents/guardians and other professionals involved in the child's care, and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families remotely. Essential qualifications include a Ph.D. or D.Clin.Psy in Clinical Psychology, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and substantial post-qualification experience working with children and adolescents. Experience with telehealth delivery of psychological services is strongly preferred. Proficiency in using secure video conferencing platforms and electronic health record systems is required. You must have a dedicated, quiet workspace with a reliable internet connection to ensure confidentiality and effective service delivery. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to accessible and high-quality mental healthcare for young people, offering flexibility and the chance to shape the future of remote psychological support. Join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents.
