What You'll Be Doing:
As a Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating bending machinery, tools, and equipment safely and according to instructions.
- Engaging in physical and manual work, including the movement and lifting of steel bars.
- prioritising and completing production activities efficiently.
- Setting up or adjusting equipment based on manufacturing specifications.
- Monitoring the quality of output, ensuring any faulty products are identified and addressed.
- Maintaining accurate daily production records to facilitate performance analysis.
- Using measuring tapes with precision.
- Operating overhead cranes (training will be provided!).

- This role involves heavy lifting and manual labour in a steel production environment, so a strong physical ability is essential.
- While steel or production experience is not necessary , experience in labouring or construction is a significant advantage.
- A willingness to learn and a can-do attitude are crucial for success in this role.

Due to an expanding business & internal promotions, we are looking for 2 Machine Operator their busy workshop.
The successful Machine Operator duties will include;
- Setting up, operating & maintaining glass manufacturing machinery as per SOP & In line with health and safety
- Driving the company luton VAN to deliver their products in and around London (this will be 1 day out of 5)
- Manufacturing architectural glass as per client spec
- Work to current standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Ad-here to all workshop SOP’s and co’ health and safety procedures
- Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production
- Update and manage their computer systems (full training provided)
- Quality Check all finished items pointing out errors or areas for improvement
- Hours of work, Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm (some overtime opportunities available)
