The Opportunity:We are seeking an MEP Digital Engineering Design / BIM Coordinator to join the Crown House Technologies MEICA Digital Design Centre at our head office in Dartford.
Crown House Technologies, part of the Laing O'Rourke group, leads in digital engineering, delivering complex projects using BIM, DfMA, and offsite solutions. This role involves shaping major builds—from nuclear power stations to hospitals—and driving innovation throughout the project lifecycle. The CHt MEICA Digital Design Centre engineers projects before on-site work, ensuring optimized solutions, technical excellence, maximized use of offsite products, reduced waste, and improved delivery efficiency. Our engineers are part of our Engineering Enterprise, aligned with our strategy to maximize DfMA, Digital Engineering, and Early Engagement.
What skills & experience are we looking for?- Contractor-side experience in MEP Digital Design / BIM Coordination and DfMA
- Knowledge of Revit plugin Fabrication parts
- A first degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, MEICA, or a related field, or an industry-recognized technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4), with demonstrable experience in design and construction delivery
- Experience working with design consultant teams
- Knowledge of various building materials and techniques
