This role is to support theoperations,ongoing engineeringdevelopmentand maintenance of the Pyrolysis Facility near Hoo, Rochester(the Plant), with the intention that the plant ismaintainedand operated to the highest possible performance, quality, health and safety,and environmental standards. Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• To take direction from theSenior Process TechnicianandSite Operations Manageras to the work needed and timelinesrequired.

• Undertakeall requiredwork activitiesensuringthat tasks are prioritised andcompleted ina timelyway to ensurethat the plantsschedulesare fullymet.

• Ensure that works are undertakenin accordance withsafe methods of work, using standard operating procedures, correct PPE, and safety assessments, and help develop these safe methods of work where they do not exist.

• Full understanding of theoperation and process and a good understanding oftheSCADAControlsystem.

• Monitor and report progress.

• Support plant maintenance activities.

• Update andmaintainaccuraterecords, including audits, inspections, maintenance records, calibration records, plant operations data, turnaround data,documentsand drawings relating to the plant. Collating and logging all information appropriately as agreed.

• Take personal responsibility for the quality and completion of the work tasks given to the Operations team.

• Measure and recordquantities/qualities of all materials producedusinginhouselaboratory techniques and equipmentandexternal test agents where necessary/cost effective.

• Assistinensuring skills and competence are relevant by undertaking, and applying, suitabletraining and development.

• Contribute to the engineeringdesign,developmentand implementationofnew andexisting equipment,andcomply withthe needs of thechange managementprocess for the plant.

• Participateinsafety assessmentsand meetings(e.g.Hazopand risk assessments)relating to plant modifications, additions etc.

• Ensure the working environment is safe and in aclean condition, including organising periodic cleaning of operationaland welfareareas.

• Use of thestock management system toensure that key stocks and consumables aremaintainedatappropriate levels,reporting any stock shortage or equipment failures or other deficienciesin a timely mannertopermitearly resolution.
