Role Mission

As the Staff Product Manager for APIs & SDKs , you will own the end-to-end definition, delivery, and evolution of Ataccama’s programmatic interfaces. You will lead the creation of our core APIs, extend them into SDKs, and use them as the foundation for first-class integrations with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, as well as orchestration and streaming technologies such as Airflow, Kafka, and dbt. You will ensure these APIs and SDKs are designed with a best-in-class developer experience - consistent, intuitive, well-documented, and secure. Your work will be central to making Ataccama the connective tissue across enterprise data ecosystems. This role requires a strong technical foundation in modern data platforms and pipelines, and the ability to translate developer needs into intuitive, scalable, and secure product experiences.


Your Challenge:
  • Own the product vision and strategy: Define the future of Ataccama’s APIs and SDKs, ensuring they empower customers to programmatically interact with our platform in scalable, secure, and developer-friendly ways.
  • Shape the developer experience: Partner with engineering and design to ensure our APIs and SDKs are consistent, intuitive, well-documented, and performant.
  • Interoperate with the modern data stack: Ensure first-class integration with data warehouses, lakes, and real-time streaming platforms
  • Support enterprise scale: Design for performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements of large enterprises.
  • Engage with customers and partners: Gather feedback from data engineers, architects, and developers from both our customer base and partner ecosystem to ensure our APIs and SDKs solve real-world problems that fit naturally into enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Establish success measures: Define and track adoption metrics, usage analytics, and developer satisfaction scores to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends: Monitor advancements in data integration, streaming, and SDK/API design to keep Ataccama competitive and developer-friendly.
Is This You?
  • Industry experience: Experience in B2B and SaaS product companies is a must
  • Proven experience: 5-7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with a focus on APIs, SDKs, data platforms, data integration, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Data platform knowledge: Strong familiarity with data warehouses/lakehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery), orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect), streaming (Kafka, Flink), and transformation (dbt).
  • Technical proficiency: Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, SDK development, authentication/authorization standards (OAuth, SSO), and best practices in developer experience.
  • Customer empathy: Strong customer empathy for data engineers, architects, and technical buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead lifecycle management for collagen and women’s wellness supplements, from launch planning to optimisation and rationalisation

Nuclera is seeking a strategic, hands-on Associate Director of Product Strategy - Antibody Applications to own the antibody applications roadmap on our eProtein Discovery system. This high-impact role will drive adoption among antibody discovery and reagent developers by translating market needs into differentiated product strategy, offerings, and go-to-market plans. You’ll serve as the antibody domain expert within the product organization—partnering closely with R&D, commercial, and customer-facing teams to accelerate growth in this core application area.


The ideal candidate will be a seasoned antibody scientist with proven commercial experience —deeply familiar with the pain points, challenges, and opportunities in antibody discovery workflows. They will be skilled at translating deep domain knowledge and voice-of-customer insights into compelling product strategies that drive adoption and success of Nuclera’s eProtein Discovery System.

This role requires approximately 20% travel, including domestic and international trips, to attend customer meetings, industry events, and visits to UK office as needed.

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and drive the antibody application strategy, identifying key workflows and unmet customer needs
  • Develop a sequenced roadmap to guide productization of antibody-relevant workflows

Nuclera is seeking a strategic, hands-on Associate Director of Product Strategy - Antibody Applications to own the antibody applications roadmap on our eProtein Discovery system. This high-impact role will drive adoption among antibody discovery and reagent developers by translating market needs into differentiated product strategy, offerings, and go-to-market plans. You’ll serve as the antibody domain expert within the product organization—partnering closely with R&D, commercial, and customer-facing teams to accelerate growth in this core application area.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned antibody scientist with proven commercial experience —deeply familiar with the pain points, challenges, and opportunities in antibody discovery workflows. They will be skilled at translating deep domain knowledge and voice-of-customer insights into compelling product strategies that drive adoption and success of Nuclera’s eProtein Discovery System.

This role requires approximately 20% travel, including domestic and international trips, to attend customer meetings, industry events, and visits to UK office as needed. 

About the role: 

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap

o   Define and drive the antibody application strategy, identifying key workflows and unmet customer needs

o   Develop a sequenced roadmap to guide productization of antibody-relevant workflows

o   Champion market-fit, pricing models, and routes to scale adoption

  • Go-to-Market & Commercialization

o   Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to launch and scale antibody-focused solutions

o   Support market messaging, product positioning, and customer segmentation

o   Enable pilot-to-revenue transition through collaborations, validated use cases and scalable offerings

  • Customer & Market Insights

o   Lead rigorous, ongoing market research and VOC programs (surveys, in-depth interviews, advisory boards) to surface unmet needs in protein science. Translate these insights into prioritized feature investments and clear business cases that inform the product roadmap.

o   Spend significant time in the field with customers to understand pain points and validate fit

o   Distil voice-of-customer insights into clear product needs and roadmap clarity

o   Track competitive landscape to ensure differentiation and sharpen value proposition

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

o   Serve as the senior liaison between external stakeholders (customers, KOLs, sales, marketing) and internal teams (R&D, operations, quality, finance).

o   Champion product requirements, secure executive buy-in, and ensure transparent communication on priorities, timelines, and metrics.

o   Support onboarding, training, and internal enablement for antibody use cases

o   Contribute to strategic planning and resource prioritization for antibody and adjacent applications

  • Cultivate Strategic Partnerships with Thought Leaders: 
    • Build and steer high-impact relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic and industry collaborators, and channel partners—co-developing new applications and pioneering use cases that expand and differentiate our eProtein Discovery platform

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, or application development in the antibody discovery or life sciences tools space
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MS) in related field required
  • Extensive knowledge of recombinant antibodies and downstream uses
  • Proven track record building roadmaps, aligning cross-functional teams, and launching successful solutions
  • Significant experience with customer engagement, market validation, and commercial translation
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, startup environment

**PRIMARY FUNCTION:**
+ Lead strategy development process and ensure deployment across the organization
+ Develop and execute product strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives
+ Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs within the Mechanical or Industrial Engineering sector
+ Leads a team of product managers, marketing associates, pricing associates, and commercial ops; responsible for recruitment, performance management, and engagement of the team
+ As a member of the PPE Senior Leadership Team, collaborates cross-functionally on the overall business objectives and deliverables
+ Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications
+ Lead the planning, development, and launch of new products or product enhancements
+ Analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to inform future product strategies
+ Lead the development of product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of products to market
+ Lead pricing actions and margin improvement initiatives across all business lines/markets
+ Drive complexity reduction within the portfolio and pricing structure
+ Develop marketing strategies and materials to promote products effectively to target audiences
+ Work closely with colleagues to ensure good teamwork and best practice

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Proven experience (10+ years) in product management, marketing, and strategic planning, preferably for an engineering or manufacturing company
+ Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to launch and scale products that meet market demands and drive revenue growth
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic decisions
+ Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product and marketing strategies
