**Job Description**
The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that all Quality standards are achieved for both manufactured and purchased products. Providing the final point of inspection for the products and maintaining reports and performance metrics. Raising quality non-conformance reports (NCR) and supporting the problem resolution process, including Containment, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventative Actions.
The candidate must possess the ability to solve simple problems, provide operable solutions, act with minimal direction on their own initiative.
The candidate will work within the current quality team reporting directly to the UK Quality Leader
**Responsibilities:**
+ Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
+ Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production.
+ Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
+ Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database (SAP).
+ Keeps measurement equipment operating and manages calibration systems.
+ Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
+ Auditing manufacturing processes where required.
+ Completing Non-Conforming Reports with root cause analysis.
+ To work closely with production personnel carrying out first off, final, and random inspections using CMM and FARO Mechanical inspection equipment
+ Provide training and guidance to inspect using best practice.
**Qualifications and Experience Levels:**
+ Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.
+ A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
+ Familiarity with quality measurement equipment - CMM, FARO -Laser and Arm
+ Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and inspection methodologies electrical and mechanical.
+ Working knowledge of MS Office.
+ Ability to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.

**What you'll do:**
This position is responsible for scheduling work orders for the designated value stream to support the Lakeside site's on time delivery and inventory Hi5 metrics and work order leading indicators. This includes the sequencing of the production schedule to maximize efficiencies in setup times and work order release, as well as creating the Master Production Schedule in line with capacity and customer demand.
+ Balances current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements on time and in full.
+ Develops Master Production Schedule for use in Materials Requirement Planning system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts while ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained
+ Responsible for analyzing, achieving, and sustaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) rules related to master scheduling.
+ Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution
+ Performs analysis of material and production trends in order to align planning parameters and set inventory levels to protect production against short term customer demand volatility and sustain Inventory Days on Hand target levels
+ Lead Planner-to-Planner activities in the scheduling of inter/intra company demand for designated Eaton suppliers
+ Responsible for designated Value Stream's Work Order Leading Indicators, including Action Message Management, WO On Time Release, Schedule Accuracy and MPS Stability
+ Collaborates with SIOP Leader to ensure alignment with Master Production Schedules and SIOP
+ Assists in expediting material, where required, to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements
+ Adhere to all Safety Rules and procedures - responsible for reporting unsafe conditions to the appropriate management or EHS Manager as required
**Qualifications:**
+ Degree / APICS CPIM accrediation preferred
+ 3+ Years experience in a relevant domain

**The Candidate**
Main duties include:
