What You’ll Do:
- Create and manage production schedules across extrusion, printing, and conversion

- Purchase and manage film inventory to ensure smooth production flow
- Liaise with sales, logistics, and quality teams to meet delivery timelines
- Track production progress and proactively resolve delays or issues
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in production planning or coordination (manufacturing preferred)
- Familiarity with artwork files and print processes
- ERP/MRP system experience and strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

The hours of this role are on a Rotational basis. Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
The salary for this position is £29,166 per annum (including shift allowance)
Main duties as a Production Operative (Pre Press):
- Machine operating duties such as assembly of print cylinders, plate mounting, anilox selection and preparation, ink preparation, cutter and tool mounting, material loading and changeovers
- Strip down press/make ready for next job
- Check print job schedule running order to improve shift efficiency
- Maintain continuous improvement
- Strict adherence to production procedures and SOP's
- General equipment maintenance, and high levels of cleanliness
- Provide cover on press when required (following successful training)
- Load reels
Skill and experience needed as a Production Operative (Pre-Press):
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions well
- Able to work both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to learn and apply new methods and procedures
- Strong maths skills
- PC literate
- Previous pre-press/printing experience desirable, but not essential
