A Quality Inspector (Weld & NDT) role is pivotal in upholding quality standards and compliance within manufacturing environments. Responsible for inspections and documentation review, this position fosters a culture of operational satisfaction and adherence to project requirements.
Who this job would suit:
Ideal for CSWIP 3.1 & PCN Level 2 certified QA/QC professionals with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Suitable for those experienced in welding procedures and quality assurance protocols, who thrive in collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete inspections to ensure material at goods inwards meet the required standards.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and treatment works to carry out inspections of sites.
- Visit suppliers and produce relevant inspection reports.
- Utilise your Welding inspection and NDT knowledge to ensure work is completed to a safe and high standard in compliance with company and ISO standards are followed.
Requirements:
- CSWIP 3.1 certified is essential.
- PCN Level 2 in MPI & DPI essential
- Experience within Nuclear, MOD or Heavy Fabrication is highly advantageous.
Permanent
Pay rate: £24.11 per hour (47k basic) + Overtime at premium rates + Bonus! (OTE circa £55k+)
Location: Deeside
Working Hours: 37.5 hrs (Mon-Thurs), (Fri)

Purpose
The Production Manager will ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacture of all products for the customer whilst maintaining all manufacturing assets and related equipment. This site is predominantly an Extrusion Blow Moulding site with additional Stretch Blow Moulding machines.
Key Responsibilities: Production Manager
- Oversee daily production to maximise efficiency, output, and profitability, supporting engineers and resolving process issues as needed.
- Plan and manage production schedules, assigning duties, authorising overtime, and ensuring resources meet demand.
- Be a key collaborator with our on-site customer and act as a key point of contact.
- Monitor and analyse production data, preparing daily, monthly, and financial reports for management.
- Lead and develop the Production Department, including recruitment, training, performance management, shift scheduling, and team meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement by reducing downtime, minimising material waste, and ensuring all procedures and quality standards are followed.
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and compliant workplace.
- Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, clearly communicated, and consistently applied across all shifts.
Education / Experience: Production Manager
- Significant recent experience within a fast-paced production environment with experience operating at Production Manager level – industry relevant experience would be highly advantageous (Manufacturing)
- Experience with Extrusion Blow Moulding or Stretch Blow Moulding technology would be highly advantageous.
- Strong people management experience
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Substantial exposure to safe working practises within an FMCG organisation
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
