The Project Manager will lead and support all aspects of the development and delivery of Portfolio & Technology projects, programmes and products.
Being accountable for establishing and managing; budgets, deliverables, milestones and timescales for the project or programme to ensure all requirements are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
The role will take the lead in ensuring that the programme/project governance is robust and that reporting lines and communication links are sound. They will be accountable for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders, third parties (as required) and other external bodies to ensure a positive outcome and be responsible for the performance of the project / programme team.
Reporting to the Senior R&D Director, the role is office-based in Nottingham. There may be some travel required, including occasional international travel.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Lead and direct the delivery of Customer focused projects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
+ Oversee all project activities across all functional areas in terms of tactical decisions, day-to-day management, planning, senior escalations and reporting.
+ Provide full transparency with up to date project status.
+ Act as SPOC with regard to project/programme management with all key stakeholders.
+ Lead all planning, execution, reporting, sign-off and related escalation management.

**Your experience will include:**
+ Project Management qualification (equivalent Prince 2 Practitioner or PMP).

**Purpose Of The Job**
Have full accountability and responsibility for the safe management and delivery of project works in line with business processes and procedures working alongside contract teams and client to generate pipeline sales and opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Identify and develop a short/medium and long term pipeline of Project opportunities from the portfolio of customers within the Business Unit.
2. Use the LCR and FMR to build long term capex plans for customers.
3. Leverage opportunities through visibility and presence on customer sites.

7. Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns.
8. Work within the current CDM process. In the main taking on the role of principle contractor.
9. Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.
10. Ensure CBRE QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.
11. Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.
12. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end". Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties.
13. Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
14. Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans.
15. Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business.
16. Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
17. Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format.

Your role will sit within the Catchment Science team in our Sustainable Water Management Consulting group, and will involve working with our experienced multi-disciplinary teams of technical experts including hydrogeologists, hydrologists, geomorphologists and hydro-ecologists. + Working across the Sustainable Water Management and Aquatic Ecology teams to manage and support the delivery of robust technical assessments and high quality reporting

+ Project management including financial and change control and quality assurance through checking and reviewing
+ Working with Service Area leads to support development and delivery of our pipeline of WINEP projects

Over the course of AMP7 we have seen a significant growth in demand for our skills and experience across the UK Water Company Sector and associated Regulators. As this demand is forecast to increase further during AMP8, we are looking to recruit additional Senior/Principal level technical and Project Management specialists.

**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate .**
+ Experience of managing WINEP investigations or similar, including project and technical management, with the ability to effectively manage a wider team of experts to deliver robust technical assessments

+ Ideally, some experience in projects involving assessing impacts of abstraction on the water environment. - Raising purchase orders and managing the planning budget for each project.
- Manage and maintain planning condition trackers. Gathering all necessary information, submitting and pushing for discharge in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of planning appraisals for new land opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Development Department in conjunction with the other team members.
- Prepare design and planning briefs, tender packages and commission works being undertaken by external consultants in the preparation of various types of planning applications.
- Provide an effective handover to the regional business at various stages of planning to ensure any key matters are passed onto the relevant teams.
- Submit and prepare non-material amendment and minor material amendment applications to amend planning permissions.
- Understand S106 agreements and keep trackers to ensure obligations are complied with.
- Awareness of housebuilder requirements including standard house types and design principles.
- Ensure the team are meeting the Company’s health and safety commitments and attend all relevant training.
- Ensure you have read, understand and comply with the Company’s health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Reporting any accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions immediately to your manager and record them appropriately.
- Ensure your workplace is kept tidy and any hazards are eliminated or reported to your line manager.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing on site at all times.
- Attend all health and safety training as required by the Company.
- Ensure designers risk assessments are prepared, checked and saved, following company guidance.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the **Lead Buyer, New Product Development** is responsible for establishing professional and innovative procurement practices to strategically develop and sustainably source assigned commodities globally, assuring long term supply for Veralto at world class levels of quality, delivery, and total cost. Specifically, the position is to contribute to new product development, working closely as a champion of Procurement with our Research and Development teams to launch world class products. **In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Participate and take ownership of new product development procurement activities from early-stage identification of market requirement through to product launch
+ Complete components planning and procurement (dock to stock), Suppliers on Board, Delivery and Cost targets met, and successful product planning hand-off to Commodity Manager's and Buyer-planners.
+ Collaborate and foster excellent relationships between our Suppliers, Engineering and Supply-Chain teams to support the delivery of world-class products and services.

**The essential requirements of the job include:**
