Real Estate Finance Associate - Exeter
Salary: Up to 83,000 DOE
Hybrid Model: 2 days in the office, 3 days working remotely

The Real Estate Finance Senior Solicitor's role

A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
Solid experience in real estate finance, ideally gained within a recognised commercial law firm
Strong technical skills in secured lending, title review, and property due diligence
Comfortable working closely with lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions
Able to supervise junior solicitors and contribute to team growth
Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Competitive salary of 90,000 to 115,000 depending on experience

This is a full time role, based in Worcester or Birmingham, with a salary range starting from £56k (DOE).
About the role
Our client’s real estate finance practice advises both lenders and borrowers on a broad range of matters, from funding new developments and acquisitions through to refinancing existing portfolios.
The client base is diverse, including high-street banks, alternative lenders, challenger banks, private investors, and developers. You’ll work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value transactions, while being encouraged to develop your own client relationships and commercial profile.

As part of the Real Estate Finance team, you will also be working closely with the Real Estate, Tax and Corporate Groups.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
By joining one of the largest teams of dedicated finance lawyers in the world, you will also be joining a culture founded upon support and ambition. A successful candidate will be working with borrowers and lenders at all levels of the capital structure. Responsibilities will also include representing lenders and investors across a range of real estate classes, and advising on cross border services and complex portfolio financing.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience in Real Estate Finance, having worked in a Banking and Finance team.
• Possess strong technical skills in finance work, with an international awareness.

• Preferably be experienced in multi-jurisdictional transactions, although this is not essential.
