  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.

What you'll be doing
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off night blue shift
As QA Supervisor on the night shift you will lead a quality assurance QA team to verify that all materials including finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirements.

  • Working closely with the Nights Production Manager to ensure the production of safe, legal food.
  • Complete audits and key performance indicators and monitor the consistency of outputs across the team for compliance purposes
  • Train the team to ensure that new process and procedures are adopted
  • Building production team capability to improve communication and understanding of technical standards
  • Investigating customer complaints or any non-conformance raised internal or externally to provide data which informs resolution
  • Organise organoleptic panel to ensure consistent quality
  • Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the Health Safety and Environment policy
  • Managing the nights QA team, ensuring tasks are completed in line with schedules and trackers.
  • Monitoring of micro results and initiating any investigations as required.
  • Working closely with the hygiene team to ensure swabbing and hygiene audits are completed in line with schedules
What we're looking for
  • Flexibility required to support hygiene audits
  • Ideally educated to Higher National Diploma level and/or experience within a similar role in food manufacturing
  • Experience of managing a team and leading people
  • Holds a Level 2/3 food safety certification
  • Basic knowledge of weight legislation and allergen awareness/ practical management of allergens
  • Experienced working with computer systems
  • Understanding of internal audit process and technical key performance indicators
  • Has CCP training including Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) principles for Manufacturing Unit
  • Experience and knowledge of good manufacturing practice (GMP)

The Role We are looking for a Quality Assurance & Test Services Manager to lead and coordinate testing and quality assurance across Zero Plus’s End User Compute (EUC) solutions. This role covers the full lifecycle of testing activities, from strategy and planning through to execution and reporting, ensuring that desktop, mobile, VDI, and collaboration technologies are delivered to the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability. You will also provide governance oversight, drive continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers to build testing maturity across the organisation. In this role, you will: Define and own the test strategy for EUC projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT and security standards. Develop detailed test plans, schedules, and resource models. Oversee functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing. Manage test environments, data, automation frameworks, and tooling. Ensure coverage across EUC technologies including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and VDI platforms. Lead defect management, triage, and resolution processes. Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders. Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, IT governance, and change management processes. Drive continuous improvement of testing methods, automation, and processes. This is a leadership role with real visibility, ensuring that secure, user-centric solutions are delivered consistently and effectively. What We’re Looking For We would love to hear from you if you have: Proven experience as a Test Manager in enterprise-scale IT environments. Strong background in EUC technologies (Windows 10/11, M365, AD, SCCM/Intune, VDI platforms). Hands-on expertise with test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM). Experience in test automation and scripting for EUC environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing offshore/onshore testing teams. Current, valid SC clearance (to be transferred to Zero Plus). Desirable skills: ISTQB Test Manager certification (or equivalent). Experience in EUC transformation programmes (e.g. OS migration, VDI rollout, M365 adoption). Knowledge of cloud-based EUC solutions (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365).
