The Job:

This role is part of our Saab Seaeye Business Unit in Fareham.

You will support the quality team with the day to day departmental systems and functions, co-ordinating departmental data management and analysis. Improve product quality through continuous improvement and other quality tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for Quality data and reporting.

  • Collation of the ROV System documentation.

  • Review and administrate change requests on behalf of the Quality department.

  • Conduct fault investigations when electromechanical and electronic faults are identified from production.

  • Maintain and be the focal point of contact for the customer complaints system

  • Produce analysis from Internal and external fault matrix and propose corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence of faults identifying fault trends.

  • Champion Continuous Quality Improvement.

  • Conduct internal Quality audits.

  • Assist production personnel in resolving quality issues.

  • To use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in day to day activities and procedures within the specified role.

  • To maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant IT (Information and Technology) and other systems required to adequately perform the role.

  • To act ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the business at all times.

  • To maintain a professional and supportive relationship with team members and other departments in order to deliver business objectives or deadlines.

  • To carry out any other duties as detailed by a member of the management team or authorized representative.

Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical industry, is looking to appoint an experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and maintain the highest standards of quality across their operations. This critical role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GMP, GDP, and relevant health authority guidelines. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's quality management system (QMS) to guarantee the safety, efficacy, and quality of all pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities:
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS in line with regulatory standards.
  • Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
  • Managing deviations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change controls.
  • Overseeing batch release processes and ensuring product quality.
  • Developing and delivering quality training programs to relevant personnel.
  • Reviewing and approving critical quality documents, such as SOPs, validation protocols, and reports.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.
  • Representing the Quality Assurance department in cross-functional project teams.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline, with substantial experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance. A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MHRA, FDA) is essential. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to make critical decisions. Experience with GxP environments is mandatory. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring attendance at our client's facility in Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK .

Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance quality systems within their organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving a culture of quality excellence throughout the pharmaceutical lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and other relevant regulatory guidelines. This is a hybrid position, requiring a balance of remote work and on-site presence at our **Southampton, Hampshire, UK** facility.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to GMP, GLP, and other relevant industry standards across all operations.
  • Leading and managing internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
  • Overseeing the deviation and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) management process.
  • Reviewing and approving batch records, validation protocols, and other critical quality documentation.
  • Managing the change control process to ensure all changes are properly assessed, documented, and implemented.
  • Developing and delivering quality training programs to staff.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
  • Leading and mentoring the Quality Assurance team.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

This is a significant opportunity for a dedicated QA professional to lead quality initiatives and ensure the integrity of pharmaceutical products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding the highest standards of quality. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related life science field is required. Extensive experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry is essential, with a proven track record in managing QMS and regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of international pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) is mandatory. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills are crucial. The ability to effectively manage audits and inspections, as well as drive corrective actions, is paramount. Experience with data integrity principles and risk management methodologies would be highly advantageous.
