Key Accountabilities

- Create a customer first culture throughout the team, understanding key customer businesses & their needs to continually improve the customer experience whilst also managing expectations, retaining, securing & growing business
- Continual proactive issue resolution with Operations to enhance the customer first experience, minimise disruption & develop tactics to identify opportunities to release growth opportunities
- Lead the new Business Agenda for the Region via Business Development Managers & Area Sales Managers in order to achieve new business targets
- Ensure talent management & engagement throughout the region

Highly commercial, you’ll have previous experience of leading a team of Field Sales Professionals, driving growth and results, through both new and existing business, ideally in the foodservice industry. It goes without saying that you put the customer at the heart of everything you do, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across people, process, strategy and delivery models building long lasting and highly effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to create an environment of trust, support and collaboration. The Role:
- Your role is to sell the company's Designed and Manufactured range of Innovative Smart Building Controls, Heating Controls and Thermostats. li>Field/home based covering the West Midlands, the area also includes Wales and the North West but key emphasis is on the West Midlands with Birmingham being a great location for the candidate.
- Selling into a mix of M&E Contractors probably around 70% of your time and 30% will be focusing on back selling via Merchants/Distributors and Wholesalers.
- A very well established region.
- Attending 3-5 meetings a day although this can vary on any given day.
- This is a large area but excellent support and back up will be given on the territory.
- 60-70% of your time will be Account Management focused with 30-40% being New Business focused.
- Great training, support and development.
- You will be required to be autonomous and self sufficient
