Our client, a distinguished aerospace technology firm, is seeking a talented Remote Aviation Systems Engineer specializing in Avionics to join their advanced engineering division. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in the design, development, integration, and testing of complex avionics systems for next-generation aircraft. Your responsibilities will include defining system requirements, developing detailed design specifications, creating schematics and block diagrams, and performing system integration and validation activities. You will work closely with hardware and software engineering teams, as well as flight test personnel, to ensure seamless performance and reliability of avionics systems. A strong understanding of aerospace communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in systems engineering methodologies, proficiency in simulation tools, and experience with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC, DO-178C, DO-254). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with a distributed team and contribute to cutting-edge aviation technology.
