JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Working as a travel consultant in a lovely retail store
* Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
* Liaise with clients if any changes occur, finding solutions should any problem occur with a booking
* Attend promotional events on behalf of the Company and gain product knowledge
* Maintain and develop good working relationships with our Supplier partners, customers and colleagues
* Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
* Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
* Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service
* Working across Mon-Fri (Apply online only) & Sat 0900-16:00
* Researching extensively, plan and book every aspect of our customers holiday experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous experience as a Travel Consultant
* You will be passionate about travel
* Excellent customer service
* Motivated to sell and earn commission
* Excellent worldwide knowledge

Your planning and organising skills will be key - each Argos store is a big, fast-moving business in its own right, and youll look ahead to make sure you have the all the resources you need. Every day, youll use your commercial acumen and creative approach to change.

Details of location and shift pattern:
Location - Company Shop, Haughton Road, Darlington, DL1 2BJ
Rate of pay - £12.25 per hour, paid on a 4 weekly basis
Shifts -
Vacancy A - 8 hours per week working 2 out of 7 days on a rota basis. The hours of work are between 6pm and 10pm
Vacancy B - 12 hours per week working 3 out of 7 days on a rota basis. The hours of work are between 6pm and 10pm
Vacancy C - 16 hours per week working 4 out of 7 days on a rota basis. The hours of work are between 6am and 10pm Monday to Friday, 6am and 9pm Saturday and 8am and 6pm Sunday
