About the role.
At Wickes, our stores are all about creating great experiences for customers and colleagues. As a Twilight Retail Supervisor, you will be crucial in coordinating our twilight team and ensuring our store is perfectly prepared for the next day's trading. Your responsibilities will include:
- Store Operation: Taking ownership of twilight operations, ensuring stock gaps are being quickly and accurately replenished. You will drive efficiency and maintain a high standard of presentation throughout the store, overseeing all replenishment tasks to ensure precision and pace.
- Team Supervision : Motivating, guiding, and supporting your Twilight Replenishing Assistants to achieve optimal performance and maintain a safe working environment.
- Safety & Security : Ensuring safety is the first priority for yourself and your team. You will also be a key holder, responsible for the security of the store during your shift.
- Store Readiness: Overseeing the complete preparation of the store for trading, including accurate stock replenishment and maintaining a tidy and safe environment.
Permanent and Full-time, 39 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 3 pm - 12 am.
About you.
You'll be a highly responsible and accountable person with a proven ability to motivate a small team. You're passionate about operational excellence and thrive in an environment where you make a diffirence.
Ideally, you'll have experience in supervising a team, with a strong understanding of stock management and safety procedures. Forklift driving experience is highly desirable, and experience as a key holder or being entrusted with store responsibility would be ideal.

- This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years .
- This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
- You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
- With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
- Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
