Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Sales Advisor to join our Ford dealership in Uxbridge. This role is all about loving our customers – you'll be managing and assisting with both face to face and digital enquires to make sure that they drive away in the right product.

As a Sales Advisor you'll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

  • Handing of inbound and outbound enquiries via email/telephone and digitally
  • Meeting personal and team-based sales targets
  • Guiding customers through the whole purchase process, advising on extended warranty, accessories, and financial products
  • Adhering to industry rules and regulations regarding the sale of financial products and insurance

About the role

As an Inbound Sales Advisor in our Welcome Team , you will have an impact in increasing our customer base by identifying their needs and showcasing Giant’s solutions. Therefore, you will be a main point of contact, handling inbound and outbound calls, promoting our range of products and services, and ultimately achieving sales.


Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Taking inbound and making outbound calls to warm leads.
  • Meeting set KPI’s for conversion rates, activity levels and sales targets.
  • Handling objections to encourage customer sign-ups.

  • Taking the customer through the onboarding process using our CRM system.

Your ideal experience & competencies

Ideally you would have at least 2 years’ experience in a customer service/onboarding role or alternatively educated to a degree level.

  • You can only excel in this role with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Being great at building rapport and relationships with your customers, adding value and always being humble.
  • Having tenacity and a proven track record hitting activity and sales targets.

  • Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.

  • Making phone calls to lapsed customers to regain their business.

  • Speaking to suppliers to get costings for items.

  • Completing general warehouse duties, including goods in and picking and packing customers orders for delivery or collection.

  • Ensuring merchandising displays in the branch are to a high standard.

This is full time permanent position 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 07.30 am - 4.30pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis from 08.00am – 12.00pm

And here’s what we’d like you to have: 

  • Industry or merchant experience is advantageous

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service role

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.

  • Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.

  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
