Established over thirty years ago my client is a successful, family-run, Commercial Cleaning company based in London with a healthy growth and a circa £13m turnover. They provide a broad variety of soft FM/cleaning services across the UK with a network of local offices. They hold on to the principles and ethics on which they were founded and they are still very much at the heart of what they do today. They have a deeply held commitment to deliver excellent client satisfaction to a client base that encompasses companies in many sectors.

I am currently working in partnership with them to recruit an industry experienced (contract cleaning) sales professional to become their London Sales Director. The company has telesales support, access to the relevant portals for tenders and receives a good number of quality enquiries from their website. The successful candidate would also be expected to engage in proactive activities to pinpoint sales opportunities. This role will have been muti-faceted, as well as having a personal target to meet the role holder will also manage a BDM with the plan to appoint a second BDM. The Sales Director must be experienced in tenders and larger bids as well as seeking out regular BDM opportunities. Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Sales Director to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a track record of success.

The role will be responsible for leading the sales team in driving revenue growth by developing effective sales strategies, managing team performance, and building strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing training and support to build a high-performing team that meets and exceeds sales goals
  • Establish sales metrics and KPIs to monitor team performance and sales effectiveness
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive messaging and effective promotional strategies
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management, highlighting progress and identifying challenges

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical MedTech market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Wholesale experience

Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Director of Sales to support our sales efforts. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans and building strong relationships with key customers and partners. Your primary focus will be to increase sales of Amagi’s TV-media focused technology and managed services in the UK, as a primary focus market, and few additional EU countries as secondary markets. The role will focus on broadcast TV and /or streaming TV verticals.

This is a hands-on sales role. The role will require you to actively work with individual customers to understand customer business objectives, customer requirements, and pain points and orchestrate the value that Amagi can bring to the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, own and execute a sales plan for the region
  • Manage sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Account management for existing clients

  • Working knowledge of conversational Spanish, French, or German - Bilingual a plus
