The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through developing a customer prospect pipeline focusing on winning new maintenance contracts, with additional responsibility for selling incremental repair projects.
**On a typical day you will:**
+ Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers
+ Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries
+ Develop new customers via cold calling, networking, bids and tenders
+ Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets
+ Use Otis' sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results
+ Conduct sales negotiations and close deals

**What you will need to be successful**
+ You have a business or technical degree or have completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, and 3 years of prior work experience
+ You have initial experience in the sale of technical service agreements requiring consultation.
+ You have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
+ You are characterized by a high level of commitment and reliability.
+ You are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization

+ Ensure distributor contracts and JBPs are in place and enforced, driving accountability and performance.
Trade & Promotional Strategy:
+ Own trade marketing and promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with brand ambitions and efficient use of trade funds.
+ Accountable for reduced revenue elements and promotional ROI.
Runs the NRM process consistently driving for increased revenue and profit and removing wastage.
**25% New Channel/Business Development**
Responsible for developing white space business strategies and execution plans
Develops Route to Market recommendations and can work with marketing on requirements (PPA, margin requirements, etc.)
Effectively commercialise "white space" opportunities - turning plans into execution
**What we look for:**
Ideal characteristics / experiences .
+ 15+ years' experience within CPG.
+ Experience leading teams and successful people development.
+ Experience with direct & indirect sales management required in addition to route to market planning and development.
+ A growth business / brand mindset, someone with strategic sharpness and entrepreneurial approach
+ EU experience required. German market and pet specialty channel desirable.
+ A strong understanding of ecommerce.
+ Experience of leading trade/shopper/customer marketing teams would be ideal.

+ Ability to travel 25% of the time. No issues traveling to European countries.

The Private Site Fundraising Role
Our Private Site fundraisers are employed by Charity Link on permanent contracts, fulltime or part-time and enjoy a base rate, meaning you’ll always know a minimum income with plenty of potential to earn more.

You’ll be the public face of our charity partners with a mission to interact with the public and get their support in the form of regular monthly direct debit donations or lottery sign ups.

The job
You will travel from client to client, a mixture of current customers and new approaches. No industry experience is needed, we will put you through 6 weeks of Sales Academy training as well as ongoing support and mentoring.
As part of Rentokil Initial, Rentokil Specialist Hygiene offer specialist cleaning and disinfection services. You will be selling contracts for prevention and for clean-ups for all sorts of different businesses, giving an amazing amount of variety each day!
Here's more on your key responsibilities:
- Carry out surveys for your clients, giving proposals on treatment based on your expertise and price the work
- Generating and developing leads on your own and with other colleagues in Rentokil initial
- Building relationships with your colleagues and your clients
- Offering excellent customer service to our current customers, as well as gaining extra sales
- Working towards and achieving set KPIs and targets
Requirements
What you need to succeed:
- An ambitious, outgoing, dedicated personality who is able to use their initiative whilst in the field
- Either a background in business development or customer service
- An ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- An ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently
- Full valid UK driving licence is required with no more than 6 points

**Job Overview:**
