Janus Henderson Investors' Information Security team strives to be on the cutting edge of technology and on top of the latest threats. As an Information Security Architect your contribution is invaluable to the team. You will be key to ensuring our business partners follow our best practices, while designing and helping implement cutting edge cloud security solutions.
+ Serve as the primary liaison with Information Security, the Infrastructure Cloud team, and the business.
+ You will collaborate with security engineers performing detailed analysis' in line with our current security standards.
+ Work closely with key stakeholders and technical teams in building essential relationships with strong communications across the organization while ensuring our business adheres to the security standards.
+ Document existing security architecture and relevant tools
+ Advise and support cloud security initiatives.
+ Plan, research, and design security architecture for new and existing Cloud systems
+ Represent and Contribute to Architectural Governance Community of Practice
+ Participate in the security solutions design and implementation for the information security team. Provide hands-on direction to develop efficient and scalable solutions that align with the company's business objectives.
+ Advise on mitigation for potential risks and ensure that designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards through considering governance, compliance, and risk management.
+ Ensure consistent administration of information security policies, standards, procedures, and controls to effectively improve security posture.
+ Assisting developers and systems administrators in designing and evaluating secure solutions

Must have skills
+ Broad Microsoft Azure knowledge
+ 3+ year of information security experience
+ 5+ years of general IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, OS, networking, etc)

Core Responsibilities
Security Architecture and Delivery
+ Translate business and compliance requirements into practical, well-documented security architecture designs using recognized frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).

Risk and Threat Management

+ Participate in or support incident response initiatives, aiding in root cause analysis and the development of post-incident recommendations.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with development, operations, and engineering teams to validate that security controls are effectively implemented across the development lifecycle.

Security Compliance and Governance

**What experience you'll bring:**
Required Qualifications
Expertise and Technical Knowledge
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in security architecture, compliance, and cloud security roles, working with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, or NIST CSF.
+ Deep understanding of cloud security principles including management on AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
+ Familiarity with IAM, CASB, SIEM, and container security solutions.
Professional Certifications
