Janus Henderson Investors' Information Security team strives to be on the cutting edge of technology and on top of the latest threats. As an Information Security Architect your contribution is invaluable to the team. You will be key to ensuring our business partners follow our best practices, while designing and helping implement cutting edge cloud security solutions.
+ Serve as the primary liaison with Information Security, the Infrastructure Cloud team, and the business.
+ You will collaborate with security engineers performing detailed analysis' in line with our current security standards.
+ Work closely with key stakeholders and technical teams in building essential relationships with strong communications across the organization while ensuring our business adheres to the security standards.
+ Document existing security architecture and relevant tools
+ Advise and support cloud security initiatives.
+ Plan, research, and design security architecture for new and existing Cloud systems
+ Represent and Contribute to Architectural Governance Community of Practice
+ Participate in the security solutions design and implementation for the information security team. Provide hands-on direction to develop efficient and scalable solutions that align with the company's business objectives.
+ Advise on mitigation for potential risks and ensure that designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards through considering governance, compliance, and risk management.
+ Ensure consistent administration of information security policies, standards, procedures, and controls to effectively improve security posture.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Architect to join their established IT security team in **London, England, UK**. This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of on-site collaboration and remote work flexibility. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that protect the organization's information assets against evolving cyber threats. Your duties will include developing security strategies, defining security standards and policies, and evaluating and recommending security technologies. You will play a key role in threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response planning. This position requires a deep understanding of network security, application security, data security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and identity and access management (IAM). Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR compliance is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, with extensive experience in information security architecture. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
