Ben jij een ervaren broker met een passie voor herverzekering? Kom ons team van zes brokers in Amsterdam versterken en werk mee aan alle facetten van herverzekeringsprocessen. Als Senior Broker ben jij de drijvende kracht achter de coördinatie van herverzekeringscontracten, van de initiële gegevensverzameling tot het opstellen van gedetailleerde contracten.

In deze rol krijg je te maken met uitdagende piekperiodes aan het einde van het tweede en vierde kwartaal, waarin je meerdere contracten tegelijkertijd afsluit met herverzekeraars in diverse landen. Je werkt onder tijdsdruk en in een dynamische omgeving, wat jou de kans biedt om je vaardigheden en expertise optimaal in te zetten.

Developing Aonu2019s position in the market by

Specialty Division


Involvement in client teams and initiatives across Specialty


Working on and providing supporting analysis and research required to develop and deliver market presentations and broking strategies (both individually and alongside Aon Analytics)


Assembling appropriate resources to support clients in unusual circumstances such as large claims,



Experience, Knowledge & Skills


Specific Protection and Indemnity knowledge, including knowledge of the Clubs, contract wordings and pooling agreement, including how underwriting of insurance and reinsurance related risks occurs


Must have a minimum of 5 years of appropriate (re)insurance broking, technical and analytical or underwriting experience including project and account management experience large accounts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Raise queries with the client team based on review of submission info


Work closely with the AE, AM and Analytics Lead to develop strategic account reviews and account plans


Support implementation of client plans and client growth objectives, including RFP involvement


Proactively managing the renewal process including essential administration required to successfully transact a A&H reinsurance placement






Client renewal meetings and reports where appropriate


Track placement progress and assist account executive on follow ups where appropriate


Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner, liaising with account manager to ensure all contractual documentation is complete, correct and on file.


Responding to Client and Reinsurer data requests and queries


Play an active role in marketing and placement, handling queries and providing regular client updates


Supporting role in handling and advising on A&H client requests throughout the life of a placement









Market Intelligence and Initiatives




Supporting the team projects by assisting with the development and administration of specific resources to advance our market intelligence. Assist effective planning and identifying opportunities via research and analysis.


Supporting A&H team projects by applying basic analytical skills to aid effective planning and identifying potential growth opportunities within the A&H space


Actively assisting with the development and administration of specific A&H resources to advance market intelligence.


Researching the overall A&H market environment


Collate documentation for market conferences and update wider team on market developments


Actively contributing to A&H UK growth initiatives
