We are excited to find a dependable and trustworthy Leadership Support Assistant to offer provide administrative support to our Managing Director and Leadership team. This position is key to keeping the MD’s office running smoothly, allowing them to concentrate on important strategic tasks and projects.
In this position, you'll be assisting our Managing Director by managing their diary and coordinating travel plans. Plus, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our leadership team with administrative tasks. As a key point of contact for everyone, you'll be connecting with various departments and individuals to offer guidance and assistance.
Located in our Woking office, you'll be the first point of contact for our visitors. You'll help maintain our site, coordinate appointments, and ensure that everyone arrives safely. Plus, you'll take the lead in ensuring our office runs smoothly and take pride in managing our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient and smooth diary management for the Managing Director and leadership team members
- Creating powerpoint presentations and owning some projects ensuring team members across the business update plans on a regular basis.
- Working with the Softener Supplies Manager to manage facilities on site, including tracking dates for services and holding relevant documents securely
- Responsible for coordinating travel, accommodation, events and meetings requirements
- Set and maintain office standards
- Plan and organise the replenishment of consumables and stationery
- Point of contact for visitors onsite, ensuring all visitors follow health and safety guidelines
- Manage the relationship with key suppliers e.g. confidential waste, cleaners etc
- Support H&S requirements e.g. fire alarm tests, data reporting etc
- Work with our Field Operations team with onsite fleet queries and hold keys securely
- Daily post management, distributing appropriately
- Support the administration of credit card statements and expenses for the Leadership team

Marriott International welcomes recent university graduates to experience the career development adventure of a lifetime and a world of leadership opportunities. Our global leadership development program, Voyage, propels participants on a mentored, learning-inspired journey to prepare you for a successful career. Voyage is a full-time, paid development program. As an associate and trainee, you'll build upon the skills you developed in school by participating in real world assignments.
**Ready to embark?**
To become a Voyage participant, you must have graduated with a **degree** from a university or hotel school within the last 2 years ie. on or after March 2024.
Other qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent higher level education required (Associates degree acceptable for Culinary)

**About the journey**
Voyage is an elite, award-winning program that provides a combination of hands-on, discipline-specific training and a leadership-focused curriculum. The program takes place at a Marriott International managed hotel, not a classroom, and is offered in 50+ countries.
Voyage is available in the following locations and disciplines:

+ Culinary (7%)
You will step into the kitchen operations and get ready to lead your own kitchen team in the future.
Kitchen experience is required. Depending on your previous experience, we would want you to step into a Demi Chef de Partie role. For the March 2026 intake we've got opportunities in one of our luxury brands, and one of our select service brands. Very different kitchen operations! So we'll work with successful candidates to find what would suit them best.
+ Finance (3%)
You will immerse yourself and rotate through the various finance disciplines in hotels including; accounts payable, income auditor, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, financial planning & analysis, and more.
During Voyage you will get the opportunity to complete mini rotations in different departments of a hotel. Besides a passion for finance, we are looking for candidates with an interest to learn more about hotel operations as well.
+ Rooms Operations (43%)
Room Operations in hotels exist out of; Front Desk, Guest Experience, Concierge Services, but also Housekeeping. You'll spend most of your time in Front of House/the Front Desk - but we do find it incredibly important that you also understand the importance of the strong relationship between Front of House and Housekeeping. That means you will spend time with the Housekeeping department to build a strong foundation of leadership and full Room Operations understanding. Remember, Rooms is where most of the money is made in hotels! So building on this experience will be incredibly valuable for a future hotel leadership role.
+ Food & Beverage (47%)
Food & Beverage is a very dynamic department and you'll be up on your feet a lot! Our Food & Beverage services very per hotel and would typically involve you rotating across the restaurant(s), lounge, bar, and we do like for you to spend some time in event operations as well. Depending on your experience, we want to make sure you are operationally trained before taking on added responsibilities of a supervisor and beyond.
**What's important to remember, no matter which department you are in - what you put in, is what you get out!**
**Voyage is a leadership development programme, but we do expect you to show you are ready to take on those added responsibilities. Proactivity, open communication and teamwork are all crucial in performing and showcasing you are ready for your next step.**
When you join Voyage, you gain access to Marriott's senior leaders and coaches and have many opportunities to stand out. You'll participate in mini-rotations across the disciplines to learn firsthand how to manage various hotel functions and to connect with current and former Voyage participants through our social collaboration tools. Each individual's Voyage journey is unique, spanning 12-18 months dependent upon your career interests, passions, goals, and location. You'll immediately be immersed in our rich culture and portfolio of global brands to learn how Marriott sets the standard of industry excellence.
**The experience you'll gain**
Voyage participants learn by doing! You'll be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of a hotel. If accepted into this elite program, you will:

- Improve processes & pitch new initiatives through your Voyage project

**Destination: Marriott leadership**
You'll participate in management meetings and collaborate with Voyage participants worldwide. You'll be expected to solve challenges, as well as offer ideas and innovative solutions. You will also have an opportunity to provide feedback on your curriculum and have an impact on future Voyage hires' experiences. After graduation, you'll be well-prepared to pursue your passion and take on new challenges. Many program graduates are ready to step into a Marriott supervisory or entry-level management role right away, because the program has provided a foundation for future leadership.
