They will need to be capable of working within a fast-paced environment, across different campaigns at the same time which are essential. The candidate will work alongside the wider marketing team to set and deliver key metrics in accordance with the overall event marketing strategy.
Strong digital marketing experience with proven success in executing digital marketing and social media campaigns. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can seamlessly integrate online marketing strategies with on-site event activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of customer-centric marketing strategies.
- Assist in the planning and delivery on time of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Content creation - writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing channels including websites, emails, social media and print and digital collateral.
- Maximise HTML content, deliverability and open rates through targeted Pardot email campaigns, automation and segmentation (including Engagement Studio).
- Maintain and update the five websites’ content, layout and asset design to fully maximise their optimisation and functionality.
- Manage all of Baby portfolio’s database’s using the Customer Data Platform (CDP) dashboard.
- Plan, implement and analyse engaging email campaigns.
- Managing social media channels both organic and paid.
- Write design briefs and work with the creative team to produce various collateral/assets for digital activity.
- Build relationships with key partners, sponsors, media, influencers and exhibitors.
- Compile and report on campaign effectiveness providing recommendations on opportunities for growth.
- Analyse and report on Google Analytics to utilise the collected data and personalise the visitor experience.
- Develop and maintain online systems and processes (Pardot analysis, form set-ups, website pop-ups, e-newsletter sign-ups, etc.)
- Build and implement the exhibitor’s digital marketing promotional packages and ensure that they are maximising their presence at the event.
- Support the delivery of the at-show marketing campaign and event delivery process.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Event Marketing experience implementing successful multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience of building email campaigns and marketing automation, ideally with knowledge of Pardot, are desirable.
- Digital marketing knowledge including social media, content marketing and affiliate/partnership marketing with experience working hands-on with performance marketing channels (PPC, Display, Paid Social) and knowledge of the latest digital trends and social features (i.e. TikTok).
- Experience with SEO, Google AdWords & Analytics, Website Content Management, Social Media, Later, Canva, Mobile Apps, Video, Blogs.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong copy writing, proofing and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of design and print processes.
- Solid grounding/understanding of the core marketing disciplines and what each can deliver.
- Understanding of customer data platforms and segmentation techniques (knowledge of Treasure Data is desirable).
- Understanding of tracking and response reporting; databases and customer journey segmentation techniques.
- An understanding of the consumer markets is ideal, but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a hard work ethic are essential to balance a varied and dynamic workload.
- Good team player and communicator.
- Self-motivated and determined with a strong sense of personal initiative.
- Ability to build good rapport with all internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

- Good IT skills – Word, Excel and design websites such as Canva.
