You will also lead major network upgrade projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions, and provide expert technical support for escalated network problems. A key aspect of this role involves proactive monitoring of network health and performance, implementing necessary adjustments to prevent outages and ensure optimal data flow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure.
- Ensure network security through firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues proactively.
- Optimize network traffic flow and implement quality of service (QoS) policies.
- Lead network upgrade and deployment projects.
- Collaborate with IT security and systems administration teams.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network staff.
- Evaluate emerging network technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and administration.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware.
- Hands-on experience with firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or JNCIE are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
