Role
In this role you will help shape the future of our products by transforming data into direction. You’ll analyse performance, understand customer behaviour, and create strategies that grow adoption, retention, and revenue. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, map user journeys and spot behaviour trends.
Responsibilities
- Define, track, and report on core product KPIs (activation, engagement, retention, churn)
- Conduct user pathway and journey analysis to understand how customers interact with the product across touchpoints, and identify critical drop-off points within onboarding, core workflows, and feature usage
- Combine qualitative and quantitative data for a fuller picture on customer feedback loop and customer pain-points
- Collaborate with product managers to set success metrics for new features and monitor post-launch performance
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales teams to identify data-driven upsell and retention opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports in PowerBI and Snowflake
- Work closely with wider business to ensure data quality and accuracy
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven experience conducting user journey/pathway analysis and diagnosing drop-off points
- Experience working with qualitative data analysis, e.g. sentiment analysis, to craft a coherent customer satisfaction and pain-point analysis
- Experience conducting adoption funnel analysis, pareto analysis and customer segmentation analysis
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Pendo)
- Understanding of key SaaS metrics and customer lifecycle analytics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations
- Experience working with big data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience working with DBT
- Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of statistical methods for hypothesis testing and forecasting

What You'll Do:
- Analyze complex datasets, core metrics, and business drivers to generate actionable insights that answer our most pressing questions.
- Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks that empower teams across the company to make smarter, faster decisions.
- Partner directly with Product Managers and business leaders to identify growth opportunities, potential risks, and areas for optimization.
- Provide research and analysis on market trends and leverage AI-driven analytical techniques to keep us at the forefront of innovation.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
- You have experience in a highly analytical role (e.g., Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Strategy Analyst) within a consulting firm, tech company, or product-led organization.
- You possess a strong quantitative background and are proficient in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools. Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is essential.
- You are a structured problem-solver who breaks down complex, ambiguous problems into actionable steps—consulting experience is a major plus.
- You take ownership of your work from start to finish, demonstrating accountability for your insights and their impact.
- You have an enterprise mindset : you're resilient, proactive, and have the drive to "find a way" to get to the answer.

Job Description
We are seeking a new Product Analyst role that is key to our outcome-driven product culture. You will partner with product squads to build the analytical foundation that connects work to measurable results. Your purpose is to empower our teams with the data needed to understand merchant behaviour, validate strategic roadmap items, and ultimately drive the success of both our business and our merchants.
In this role, you will also act as a key analytical resource for the wider organisation, providing data-driven perspectives to support broader business initiatives as time permits.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background and demonstrated experience collaborating with various stakeholder levels. Previous experience within a financial services company, specifically in the payment services industry, and/or in fintech, is highly desirable.

What You'll Do: Key Roles and Responsibilities
Define and Measure Outcomes:
- Work with product squads to define a hierarchy of metrics, from high-level KPIs to granular feature-level metrics, for every new feature.
- Design, build, and own the central product dashboards in our BI tools (e.g., Looker / Grafana) to serve as the single source of truth for performance.
- Establish and monitor health metrics to ensure new features don'tnegatively impact core business functions like site performance or user retention.
Drive the Feedback Loop:
- Champion a culture of experimentation by collaborating with product and engineering to design and instrument A/B and multivariate tests.
- Define the hypothesis, sample size, and success metrics for each experiment to ensure statistical significance.
- Analyse experiment results, clearly communicating not just what happened, but why, and providing a definitive recommendation to ship, iterate, or kill the feature.
Generate Strategic Insights:
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into complex business problems like user churn, merchant lifetime value, or the drivers of user engagement.
- Identify patterns and trends in the data that reveal unseen challenges or opportunities.
- Present your findings as compelling narratives to senior leadership to influence long-term product and business strategy.
Develop the Measurement Framework:
- You will be responsible for developing and owning the dashboards, funnels, and data models that track performance and user engagement.
