Our client is a leading recruitment consultancy specializing in placing top talent within the technology sector. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team based in **Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, UK**. This hybrid role offers a blend of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to leverage your expertise to connect exceptional tech professionals with exciting career opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of technical roles, including software development, data science, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. This involves understanding complex technical requirements, sourcing high-caliber candidates through diverse channels (job boards, social media, networking, headhunting), screening and interviewing potential hires, and managing the offer process. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates is paramount. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technology landscape, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Experience within a technical recruitment agency or in-house technical recruitment is essential. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions.
  • Source, screen, and interview IT and engineering candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
  • Advise clients on market trends, compensation, and recruitment strategies.
  • Negotiate and close offers with candidates.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and technologies to optimize sourcing efforts.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of various technology stacks and IT roles (e.g., software engineering, data science, cloud).
  • Proficiency in using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver results under pressure.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or flexible work environment.

About the Role:

As an Assembly Operative MTO, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling electrical components with precision and care
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure top-notch products
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work space
  • Following safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
  • Strictly applying standardised processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Ensuring the quality of operations by adhering to established standards.
  • Identifying and communicating any risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
  • Reporting all incidents and near misses, while applying the escalation process for any deviations in safety, quality, or performance.
  • Processing orders accurately and promptly.
  • Developing knowledge of our products and systems.
  • Fitting electrical components and wiring.
  • Presenting, building, and assembling power distribution units using hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
