Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Technical Recruiter to join their expanding team in Cardiff, Wales, UK . This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and placing high-calibre technology professionals across a variety of sectors. You will be instrumental in identifying top talent, building strong candidate pipelines, and managing the recruitment process from initial contact to offer negotiation. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.

- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technology roles, from understanding client requirements to candidate placement.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Conduct thorough candidate screening interviews, assessing technical skills, experience, cultural fit, and career aspirations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates in competitive markets.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and clients to understand their needs and provide market insights.
- Present shortlisted candidates to clients with detailed profiles and interview feedback.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Negotiate job offers and facilitate the closing of successful placements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Stay current with technology trends and industry best practices in recruitment.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the recruitment team through sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Network at industry events and online forums to build relationships and identify potential candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all recruitment legislation and ethical standards.
- Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or within a recruitment consultancy, with a focus on IT or technology roles.
- In-depth knowledge of various technology stacks, programming languages, and IT disciplines.
- Proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networking platforms for sourcing.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and candidate experience management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in approach.
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with both clients and candidates.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives is a plus.
