The Transportation Associate Program's Capacity Management team plays a crucial role in effective capacity planning and resource utilization optimization for the TAP program. We are seeking a highly talented and driven Analyst to lead data analysis, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage projects. In this role, you will act as the liaison between the Capacity Management team and Operations to produce accurate plan and monitor its execution.
Key job responsibilities
- Monitor planning metrics, compare actuals against plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly), identify gaps, conduct in-depth analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to address them.
- Address daily capacity challenges and serve as the primary point of contact for planning with site and operations teams.
- Take ownership of end-to-end long-term improvement initiatives, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as planned driver utilization% and LH loaded drive time.
- Lead weekly capacity planning cycles, incorporate stakeholders' requests, and ensure efficient planning.
- Educate stakeholders on capacity planning topics and promote a self-service approach.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence partners to request and develop dashboards and tools for S&OP execution.
Basic Qualifications
- A degree
- Experience in planning and/or forecasting roles
- Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
- Experience of owning and leading end to end improvement initiatives with proven track record
- Relevant experience in analyzing large data sets, data quality, and data warehousing to identify improvement opportunities
- Relevant experience creating dashboards using Excel, SQL, and visualisation tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a capacity planner or S&OP analyst.
- Previous coding experience in R, Python, or VBA.

You will play a key role in driving the performance, innovation and reliability of the end-to-end transportation teams, working cross-functionally with teams across the entire Amazon business. You will closely collaborate with partner teams to scope scalable solutions to optimize our end-to-end outbound supply chain.

As a UTR Data Analyst in the Capacity Planning Team, you will be working on the weekly cadence for the generation of labor plans for AMZL delivery stations to make sure the organization is well prepared for the future.
The work will be both technical and non-technical, spanning different business domains and technologies. You will work directly on SQL, Python, and Javascript, and also influence partner teams. You will work with Data Engineering and Software Engineering to deliver solutions like changes to Science models, roll-out LLM models, collect data, build data pipelines or build dashboards.
You will work cross-functionally and build key relationships to ensure that decisions are made and action. Which enables the AMZL operations to run as effectively as possible. You will challenge the unknown and strive for continuous improvement in key areas of our business.

-Collaborate with functional teams to ensure they are aware of all deliverables through the planning cycle and be a point of contact for any queries they have.
-Support the Modelling manager in developing Intacct revenue and capacity planning models.
-Work with regional Intacct to ensure forecasts are accurately submitted performance against prior forecasts is understood and shared with relevant stakeholders.
-Work with the regional teams and analyze performance data to really understand the key drivers within each region and start to review forecast submissions based on evolving performance trends.
-Complete ad hoc analysis on performance against forecast across the year, presenting finding to the RTR Planning Director and across the team
-Build strong working relationships?across departments, learning how different functions contribute to Sage's commercial success.
