Role Mission

As the Staff Product Manager for APIs & SDKs , you will own the end-to-end definition, delivery, and evolution of Ataccama’s programmatic interfaces. You will lead the creation of our core APIs, extend them into SDKs, and use them as the foundation for first-class integrations with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, as well as orchestration and streaming technologies such as Airflow, Kafka, and dbt. You will ensure these APIs and SDKs are designed with a best-in-class developer experience - consistent, intuitive, well-documented, and secure. Your work will be central to making Ataccama the connective tissue across enterprise data ecosystems. This role requires a strong technical foundation in modern data platforms and pipelines, and the ability to translate developer needs into intuitive, scalable, and secure product experiences.


Your Challenge:
  • Own the product vision and strategy: Define the future of Ataccama’s APIs and SDKs, ensuring they empower customers to programmatically interact with our platform in scalable, secure, and developer-friendly ways.
  • Shape the developer experience: Partner with engineering and design to ensure our APIs and SDKs are consistent, intuitive, well-documented, and performant.
  • Interoperate with the modern data stack: Ensure first-class integration with data warehouses, lakes, and real-time streaming platforms
  • Support enterprise scale: Design for performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements of large enterprises.
  • Engage with customers and partners: Gather feedback from data engineers, architects, and developers from both our customer base and partner ecosystem to ensure our APIs and SDKs solve real-world problems that fit naturally into enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Establish success measures: Define and track adoption metrics, usage analytics, and developer satisfaction scores to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends: Monitor advancements in data integration, streaming, and SDK/API design to keep Ataccama competitive and developer-friendly.
Is This You?
  • Industry experience: Experience in B2B and SaaS product companies is a must
  • Proven experience: 5-7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with a focus on APIs, SDKs, data platforms, data integration, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Data platform knowledge: Strong familiarity with data warehouses/lakehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery), orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect), streaming (Kafka, Flink), and transformation (dbt).
  • Technical proficiency: Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, SDK development, authentication/authorization standards (OAuth, SSO), and best practices in developer experience.
  • Customer empathy: Strong customer empathy for data engineers, architects, and technical buyers.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with engineering teams, external developers, and executive stakeholders.
