Retail Store Manager / Team Leader

Part time position
13 Per hour plus 25% additional hours rate
Opportunity to run a brand new store opening at the home of Worcester Warriors and Worcester City Football club.
The store will sell merchandise for both teams and is part of a larger sports retail group.
The Role
The position is part time and will require flexibility in working hours.
You will work 3 fixed days per week Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10:00AM - 04:00PM but will also be required to manage the store on all match days which can we weekends or evenings. A schedule is available on request.
The position is currently on a fixed term contract basis working from 1 September - 01 May 2026 with the potential of contract renewal after this date. Duties will include:
- Management of the on site retail outlet
- Opening and closing of the store
- Ensuring smooth running of the store
- Maximising sales
- Supervision of temporary staff on match days (up to 10)
- Stock and inventory control
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements
- Ensuring excellent customer service
Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and qualities:
- Previous supervisory experience in a clothing retail environment is essential
- Availability to start latest 1 September 2025
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sales driven
- Exceptionally well organised
- Flexible, happy to work weekends and evenings when required

The Retail Store Manager acts as the "Business Owner" of the store and is responsible for merchandising, financial management, sales staff supervision, and overall store leadership.
