Job Description
Successful FMCG retail business require a Supply Chain Manager. Applicants need previous experience in; supply chain management, senior supply chain analysis, demand planning or inventory management within a retail, wholesale or FMCG business.
The Supply Chain Manager will manage the end-to-end flow of product from manufacturers/factories into UK warehouses and distribution centres encompassing; purchasing, planning, forecasting and logistics. The role would suit a proactive and driven individual with deep experience in supply chain to take ownership of product/range availability.
Specific duties of the Supply Chain Manager include:
- Manage stock availability
- Forecasting demand monthly and planning for promotional events
- Identifying and resolving issues that affect stock efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Leading range changes and supporting new product launches
- Contribute to success of assigned ranges and products
- Liaison with 3PL and logistics services partners
Supply Chain Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience working in a fast paced; FMCG, retail, wholesale or consumer product manufacturing environment
- Skilled in demand planning, forecasting and supply chain analysis activities
- Comfortable dealing with a high number of SKUs; 100+
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Experience in the use of supply chain planning and demand planning tools/software

A leader in the Aerospace sector is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst to join their team in Wimborne supporting inventory optimisation and supply chain performance across multiple business areas.

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst you'll play a key role in driving data-driven decisions to improve inventory health, support operations with KPI-focused insights, and optimise stock levels through advanced analytics and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth inventory analysis to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Monitor and forecast inventory performance using tools such as Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
- Analyse product demand and determine optimal min/max levels for parts and materials.
- Drive reduction of aged, excess, and obsolete inventory across sites.
- Collaborate with IT and internal teams to enhance system reporting and tracking of inventory KPIs.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, or SCM.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (Power BI tools and ERP systems - SAP/Oracle)
- Strong understanding of inventory valuation, forecasting models, and stock strategy.
- Proven ability to present insights clearly and influence decision-making.
- CPIM or APICS certification (desired).
