Seeking a Materials Supply Planner to join our client's team at Bournemouth Airport, Christchurch, on a contract basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in optimising inventory management and driving efficient supply chain operations within a global aviation business.
As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies, analysing demand patterns, and working closely with suppliers to ensure on-time material availability. You will directly contribute to improving customer satisfaction, minimizing costs, and reducing waste, working closely with teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC.
Candidates with knowledge of the Aviation Supply Chain, Aftermarket Business and Lean Manufacturing will be prioritised.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage planning activities, including forecasting accuracy, MRP messages, lead time checks, safety stock adjustments, and adherence for a specific portfolio.

- Proficiency with SAP (MM/LE) and/or other MRP systems .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related experience.
- Experience with Servigistics, Power BI, and Data Analysis (Access/Python) .
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles .
- Previous involvement in inventory optimisation projects .
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm.
