Responsibilities of our Supply Primary Teacher:
- Confident delivery of high-quality teaching to students across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 – flexibility to pick and choose your preferred key stage or year groups
- Implementing lesson plans provided by the school or creating engaging lesson plans as required – planning is not required unless agreed in advance with the school for longer-term assignments
- Demonstrate adaptability, classroom presence and good management of classroom behaviour
- Create a positive learning environment for students, bringing enthusiasm and flexibility to new teaching environments
Requirements of our Primary Supply Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
- Recent teaching experience in a primary school and confident delivering lessons in KS1 or KS2.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to work in and travel to a variety of schools
- Availability to work at short-notice or pre-booked cover
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
