The job details 
The OT Security Lead will support the Head of Cyber security to offer guidance to the business units to understand their operating cyber threats and risks, identify mitigating actions and develop remediation plans, develop standards, define and achieve compliance to OT policy and support BU OT project deliveries.

What you’ll be doing 

  • OT Security thought leadership, influencing and delivering cyber risk management for the OT environments
  • Responsible for holding to account operational areas, owners of risk and suppliers to deliver against the Group’s OT strategy, programmes, and requirements in a cyber secure manner
  • Working closely with the Head of Cybersecurity and group engineering services to continuously improve OT infrastructure, security policies and working practices to ensure they remain current and appropriate
  • Proactively support the business units and wider internal teams (e.g., audit) to eliminate overlaps and provide a holistic and consistent view of our OT cyber security posture
  • Support the development and rollout of a framework for performing OT security assessments across the group
  • Perform post incident reviews for impactful incidents across the group, including a detailed analysis of root cause, detection, response and recovery activities
  • Monitor global OT security trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure these are considered in Group initiatives and business unit programmes to protect manufacturing systems


What are the mission critical skills
To conquer these challenges, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Industrial network protocols and OT infrastructure that are commonly encountered within a logistics or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of the risks, issues and controls associated with OT systems, networks and applications
  • Awareness and knowledge across different security frameworks such as IEC62443, NIST for OT, COMAH
