You will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom. At Outcomes First Group you are able to work creatively, making the most of all the extensive resources and expert support we have available.
You will observe, monitor and assess our students, making sure their personal development and wellbeing are as important as the academic curriculum.

Colne Grange School is a new specialist ASD provision. We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join our team due to growth and a new extension to our school. As part of the Hillingdon Grange group of schools and the Outcomes First Group, Colne Grange will offer day provision to pupils with Autism.
Located over four sites, the group provides education from early years up to KS2 and offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Personalised teaching and learning in an autism-specific environment allows pupils’ individual needs to be addressed completely and their capabilities fully realised.
Colne Grange will provide specialist education for c35 pupils. Colne Grange deploys a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum expectations where appropriate.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

Job Description
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable).
Encourage creativity and independent thinking through a range of artistic techniques and media.
Develop and maintain a stimulating classroom and studio environment that celebrates student work.
Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations, including assessment, feedback, and moderation.
Organise and contribute to art exhibitions, displays, and enrichment activities.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
Keep accurate records of pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school.
Uphold the school's safeguarding, behaviour, and equal opportunities policies.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related discipline.
Strong subject knowledge, including practical skills and art history.
Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse interests and abilities.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Art & Design.
Knowledge of digital art or photography.
Experience running extracurricular art clubs or community projects.
