Our New Options Autism School – Bradford Beacon School is proposed to open September 2025 and will cater for 37 pupils aged 4 - 11 years with have a variety of complex needs including ASC.

About the role

Do you have any teaching assistant experience supporting children either in or outside the classroom?

Are you passionate about supporting children with various SEND needs?

If this sounds like you and you are now looking for your next challenge then Academics Leeds are recruiting a number of classroom support assistant's to work in our mainstream primary schools across Leeds.

We have a number of long term classroom support assistant and SEND Support roles commencing immediately as well as after October half term including:

  • SEND Support (Autism)-Harrogate
  • SEND Support within EYFS-South Leeds
  • SEND Support (ADHD,KS1)-East Leeds
  • Teaching Assistant (KS1/KS2)-North Leeds
  • Classroom Support Assistant (KS1)-North Leeds
  • Classroom Support Assistant (KS2)-North Leeds
  • SEND Support (Team Teach required)-South Leeds

* The ideal classroom support assistant will have experience supporting children either in or out of the classroom
* Candidates with experience working with children, SEND and/or the care industry will also be considered
* A can do attitude and a willingness to help in other areas of the classroom
* The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure
* The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members
